VG111 2010-2025 MHz Reference Design
The VG111 variable gain amplifier can operate over a very broad range of frequencies with suitable matching circuits for specific bands of interest. This application note details the performance of VG111 at TD-SCDMA frequency band (2010 -2025 MHz). At 2015 MHz, VG111 typically has 13.7 dB Gain, +22.7 P1 dB, +40 OIP3 and a gain attenuation range of 27 dB. Circuitdesign shows the substrate/vias inductance used for simulation purpose.
VG111 2.4-2.7 GHz Reference Design
The VG111 variable gain amplifier can operate over a very broad range of frequencies with suitable matching circuits forspecific bands of interest. This reference application note details a reference design optimized for performance at 2.4 - 2.7 GHz frequency band.
VG111 2.3 2.4 GHz Reference Design
The following shows the VG111 tuned to the frequency band of 2.3 2.4 GHz for optimal small-signal performance. All data shown have the VG111 set for the minimum attenuation / maximum gain (Vctrl = 0 V).
FP1189 CATV Push-pull Reference Design
The WJ FP1189 can be used in a push-pull configuration to produce 12 dB of flat-gain and excellent performance for CATV applications while only drawing a total of 200 mA of current. The supply voltage can be set at any voltage between 6 and 12V. The high OIP2 and OIP3 performance makes these devices ideal for CATV/FTTH line-amplifier solutions.
FH1 Push Pull CATV Reference Design
The WJ FH1 can be used in a push-pull configuration to produce 14 dB of flat-gain and excellent performance for CATV applications while only drawing a total of 300 mA of current on a +5 V supply. The high CSO and CTB measurements of 80 dBc at +32 dBmV / channel output power (77 channels) makes this module ideal for CATV line-amplifier solutions.
