CX24138/CX24109 DVB-S FTA Satellite Set-top Box Reference Design
The DVB-Satellite (DVB-S) set-top box reference design features Conexant’s CX24138 satellite System-on-Chip (SoC). The system receives and down converts QPSK satellite digital video signals to baseband with the CX24109 RF tuner. The CX24138 includes an integrated 150 MIPS ARM920T main system processor and performs the QPSK demodulation, MPEG-2 audio and video decode, and TV encoder functions.

CX24230 DVB-T Demodulator and FEC Decoder
The CX24230 is a high performance DVB-T demodulator that is compliant with ETSI EN 300 744, NorDig Unified 1.0.2, and DTG D-Book, issue 4.0, performance specifications. To provide enhanced performance, the CX24230 includes 12-bit A/D converters, digital adjacent channel filtering, and an enhanced Forward Error Correction (FEC) architecture.
